I'm leaving the Cape Friday morning and driving down to NYC on I-95. Any suggestions on where to stop for lunch?

Go to Jiggers Diner in East Greenwich RI. They are off of exit 8 of I-95. They are usually open until 2PM. Check mapquest for directions.

Another good place is Noah's in Stonington, CT, just over the border from RI and not too far of a hike from 95. Small-town cafe with a menu that covers all the bases.

Thanks for the recommendation on Noah's -- the food was terrific! I can't wait to go back. I had a great lunch of scallops plus a salad with poached pear and goat cheese, plus a chocolate chip cookie fresh from the oven for dessert. Definitely worth a detour off I-95, it's about 15 minutes east.

Lenny & Joe's Fishtail Restaurant on Rte. 1 in Westbrook is a great place to eat lunch! Excellent fried clams and lobster rolls!
