Cart Storage Help in NYC

Hi All- I am having a HUGE problem finding a location to store my cart in NYC. I am required to store it in a licensed depot or commissary and every place we have tried is either full, doesn't allow the sale of pork products (which we have on the menu) on carts they store, or they would require us to close 4-5 hours earlier than we plan to. If anyone knows anyone in NY who could help or who has a facility in the City PLEASE send along what you know! Thanks.

Check out a culinary school, private school, or church that has a licensed kitchen with the proper refrigeration, sinks, and drainage. They'll need to have doors large enough for entry & exit for the cart. Fire laws prohibit propane tanks from being stored indoors.

Thanks for the ideas. Unfortunately the depot and commissary laws in NYC make it so the place has to have a room large enough for you to clean the cart inside in a room different from any where either food or actual carts are stored, and they have to be specifically licensed for the purpose of acting as a depot. We know a place we can store the cart but we would have to clean it in the street which is illegal and quite difficult in the dark w/o a real water source. We actually won't even be able to get our cart permit in hand until we can get a letter from the depot proving we have have arrangements with an approved facility...

ummmm....at the risk of sounding like a master criminal, have you considered making a contribution to the retirement fund of your friendly commissary/depot owner in exchange for said letter?
