Carvel In Texas

I had my first Carvel Ice Cream in Texas today after lunch. I went down to San Antonio and had a great pizza at Sorrento on Broadway (5100 Block). Two doors away was a Carvel that just opened on Saturday.

The franchisee is an Italian-American from Staten Island with a wonderful Italian New York accent. I loved my Carvel ice cream today.

I looked up their website and found that they are opening about a dozen stores in Texas but none here in Austin.

Anyone who has never tried Carvel, must try this ice cream. I rave about Carvel soft ice cream the way that Texans rave about Blue Bell. I tried yours, now you must try my favorite.
