Central Wisconsin (Wausau, Oshkosh, Fon du Lac)

Headed on a weekend roadtrip through these towns. Any recommendations? Thanks.

    Friar Tuck's in Fond du Lac (they also have one in Oshkosh) has always been a reasonable and solid sandwich and spirits choice.

    Wow-havent been to Friar Tucks in eons....I recall they had very decent food-and french onion soup au gratin, which is a favorite of mine.

    Salty's was our first stop (and choice) for a recent visit to Fond du Lac; They have some excellent seafood for a place in the Midwest. Lots os supper clubs in the area but I've never visited any of them; try this for ideas  http://www.supperclubmovie.com/links.html
