Chandler's BBQ

Why they call it that I am not sure but it is a more meat and three or two or more. The couple that started this wonderful place got laid off many years ago from Standard Kniting Mills in Knoxville. They started this place on a shoe string. It is immensely popular and the food is very very tasty and well as unusually huge portions. I do not recommend many places in Knoxville but this one is certainly worth your stop. Iwannago and I stopped by there for lunch yesterday. I ordered two chicken thighs, broccoli casserole and mashed potatoes. I could only eat one half of the chicken thigh because it was so huge and the sides were totally outstanding. Roz got a chicken breast and wing along with deep fried okra and cole slaw. Totally outstanding. The place was packed with students even though it is several miles from the campus. Word gets around. I suggest if you are in Knoxville, try this place. http://www.chandlersstore.com/page/page/5751245.htm Paul E. Smith Knoxville, TN

Thank you for the tip. Sounds terrific, and I'm really interested in that cabbage seasoning.
