Heading to Charlottesville this weekend from Ohio...anything along the way or in C-Ville specifically I might want to stop at? A big BBQ and hamburger guy, but enjoy all manner of delicacies. Thanks.

I was just in Charlottesville last Wednesday & I had wonderful food at the Northern Exposure restaurant. It is near the University. Website- is www.northernex.com. We had an big lunch so we only had margaritas & clam chowder for dinner with key lime pie to go. The margaritas were great, but the clam chowder was WONDERFUL!! Best I've ever had. It was very creamy,with tender potato,celery & onion. Best of all- tender & juicy clams. Just yummy!! I'm sorry we didn't have an entire meal. The Key lime pie was great, also. Homemade,thick,sugary graham cracker crust,creamy, just the right amount of tartness in the filling, & real whipped cream.
