Of Roadfood fame!  So sad to see a place like this go.  Just the classic sign will be missed.  Not to mention the great food.
 
 

Yes, this is sad news for East Ridge and countless families who loved to dine at Eidson.  It's a true family-style restaurant, and those are hard to come by these days.  My hat is off to the restaurant operators and their many loyal employees. 
Side Note:  The Russell Stover outlet store on Brainerd Road closed recently after over 45 years in business.  Gosh, my mother shopped there when I was a kid.

That's too bad!  I'm getting a little tired of reading about Roadfood joints closing!

Well, that's a darn shame... it was on our calendar to visit when we head back through Tennessee in November.
