Checkers new Double Bacon Double Combo

In addition to serving banana milkshakes and apparently putting something so addictive in their french fry coating you can't stop eating them, now Checkers has this burger that actually has enough real bacon (not overcooked) on it to make it completely worthwhile paying for it! Just got one this afternoon, and I'm absolutely hooked. Two burgers, four strips of bacon (which is actually still flexible enough it doesn't stick out like a piece of plywood from both sides of the bun...they actually tucked it in), cheese (what looks like sauce, but might very well have been actual melted cheese from a drive-thru!) and ketchup. I wanted to post a picture, but they're not on the website...could be we're the test market. At any rate, if you can get one, and you love bacon as much as I do, go for it! If you don't like fast food, or Checkers, or bacon, or burgers, or anything else that a food purist might take offense to in this post, hit the back button and read about something else rather than jumping all over me, won't you? Thanks!

I'm going to swing by my local checkers and try it out. I'll report later

Checker's is a pale imitation of In n Out, light years behind.

Maybe so, but the nearest In n Out is approximately a two-day drive (if I don't stop to sleep...Michigan to Utah is quite the hike). The nearest Checkers is approximately a six-minute drive.
