Are you REALLY so delusional that you think comments on an obscure food website forum would have any effect on the success or failure of any restaurant chain? And listen Monk, I really think you might want to re-examine that brilliant conclusion of yours that I was fronting for another competing restaurant that features a "Doozie" on their menu. I believe that particular chain went out of business around 1980. Meh!

QFan and extended family guests (in for the holidays) went to the original CB-CB on Sanibel Island yesterday. Although the restaurant has moved from their 1st location, they are still under the same owner who created the "big is better" hamburger concept w/ fifties-style malts, shakes, music and furniture. The new location is huge by comparison to their original hole-in-the-wall spot, but the food was still as good as the old days. Mrs QFan and daughter in law had the one-third pounder, while #1 son and I had the half-pounder all with different cheese selections for covering the burger, plus generous amounts of the twenty different items that you can choose for topping as well as the normal burger condiments. We also had a large basket of mixed onion rings and fresh-cut ff's which were delectable. Most of us had soft drinks, but we did order one of their hand-dipped shakes which everybody got to rry. It was mocha/chocolate w/ chopped up nuts and was a big hit. All-in-all twas an excellent lunch in a sunny relaxed environment which was only just beginning to show signs of the winter tourist rush/traffic. Everyone agreed that we would return for another visit in the future. QFan Bonita Springs, FL

I had CBCB at the airport in either Ft Lauderdale or Palm Beach, but I was really blown away at how good it was. I just ran past, caught a smell of something good, bought the basic meal Fries/Coke/CB and got on the plane. On the flight I though it was great, maybe I was really hungry, but I will try them again if I see them again.

Cheeburger, Cheeburger, is way over priced and service way too slow, I prefer Fuddruckers, much better atmosphere and better food.

I went to a Fuddruckers in Bridewater NJ and found it to be extremely overprices, but more disheartening is that the atmosphere was a disaster. The ‘fixins’ were in total disarray and messy. I found the overall organization of the place and the process was stressful and not enjoyable. I had a really bad experience. Maybe it was an isolated incident, but I have not been back because of those two factors.
