Definitely jealous of the breakfast at Tempo Cafe, a real favorite of mine.  The Casablanca is a great way to start off your day.  Thanks CTD!

    The final stop...

After two days of being MIA, we decided that bribery would work well, so we made our way to our final stop...

    The Red Hen Bakery.

A relatively tiny spot, it packs a big punch in the world of sweet and savory baked goods.  Many a restaurant goer has dined on Red Hen bread products without even knowing it.  We concentrated on take home items, suitable for bribing!

While there is a complete sandwich menu...

    We went with this...

    ...and that!

Breads of all sizes, shapes and textures line the walls.

    We had the...

    Scone...pumpkin whoppie pie...cherry pie...

    Croissant...orange cranberry muffin...sweet potato pie!

Red Hen Bakery...for great snacks, breads and bribes!

And we'll all be singing...Go Cubs Go...Go Cubs Go...Hey Chicago what do you say...Cubs are going to win today!

I forgot to post this picture in this Trip Report.  As we were driving to our hotel, I spotted this contrast and with stood three cars giving me the one-finger salute to get this shot.

I find it unique with the old warehouse style building and water tower in the foreground and Sear's Tower in the back ground.

Here's another view from much further back and above in the hotel's fitness center.  It is taken through glass which accounts for some of the reflection.

And finally, an evening shot with a lot of blur (sorry) but still showcasing the contrast in a big city.
