Chicago dogs in Madison WI

Apparently a new stand calledMad Dog's and specializing in Chicago-style hot dogs opened in Madison a couple of months ago. I get downtown once a decade or so but others who spend more time there might be interested. I'll still be going to Poppa's over on the east side when I need a fix... Brad

I'm not a fan of Poppa's, though I lament the lack of decent dogs in Madison greatly. Home depot has very good Red Hot Chicago dogs done well, and I've been meaning to try Supreme Pizza on Johnson, they have a Vienna sign in their window. I'm guessing I'll be disappointed there though. Mad Dogs has a good looking place, tiny, no fryer but soo costly. They have the balls to charge $3.75 for a 10-1 dog. Wow. I sweated charging $2.25 for a dressed dog when I owned Dog Eat Dog, but that went over well. I should try Mad Dogs before I mouth off too much. Thanks for the post.
