Chicago fried calamari

If you're in the Chicago area, try the fried calamari appetizer at Francesco's Hole in the Wall in Northbrook. I had it Saturday night and it was quite an experience. Possibly the best calamari I've ever had. Not greasy, but it had that impeccable melt in your mouth texture and was fried just right - not too much batter, not too little. And the fried part didn't cover up the wonderful flavor of the little critters.
