Chicken soup at Penny's

I had a late lunch/early dinner at Penny's Noodles in Chicago yesterday, and their Thai version of chicken noodle soup is outrageously good. The broth is pretty dark, and the noodles are quite thin. The chicken pieces (plenty of them) have a rich flavor that reflects their absorption of the aromatic broth. There's plenty of cilantro and green onion floating around. For $4.50, it's a bowl so big I couldn't finish. With a side of vegetarian Vietnamese spring rolls, it's the perfect meal for a cold Chicago day.
