Child Friendly Restaurant - I-95 Corridor Cocoa Beach, FL to Washington DC

I will be traveling with my daughter (14 months) from Central Florida to Washington DC after the holiday and am looking for a child friendly restaurant with a toddler approperiate menu. We tried the Cracker Barrel but the food is too salty and sugary, OTT all the restaurants look like fast food. She eats everything; chicken, beef, pork, shellfish, fish, vegs. Looking to stay realitively on track but willing to make small detour. Your help is greatly appreciated! Best, Colleen

the Waffle House is surprising good. drove up with my daugther (she is now 27) from southern florida to DC a few years ago, greatly surprised at the quality of the food and the coffee. many along the I-95 corridor. enjoy

Are you still heading north anytime soon? With all of the snow and bad weather...I was wondering what your schedule is like now! Too bad you don't like Cracker Barrell...I like it for traveling I-95 and any major highway. On the other hand...I haven't met a fast food place yet that wasn't heavy with the salt and FAT! I don't find the food too salty myself at Cracker Barrell. I like their veggie plate w/ Mac N Cheese! Their potroast and meatloaf are good too!MMMMMMMMMMMM I'm getting hungry! LOL But I will put on my thinking cap again! Good luck and safe travels. Happy Eating! KokomoJoe
