Chinese Officer Corps Ousts Snorers

Listening to "Wait,Wait, Don"t Tell Me" on NPR. They reported that the Chinese government is forbidding people who snore from becoming officers in the Chinese Army. There goes my second career.

I really take issue at this. Both my husband and I snore. We usually sleep through each other.
I suppose snorers shouldn't marry insomniacs or easily irritated people.

In honor of Mr. Chips 2500th post, and the fact that my wife kicked me out of bed last night for snoring, I thought I'd dig up this post.
Anyone have any home remedies to minimize snoring?

My husband uses those nose strips and some kind of throat spray. It helps him a lot!

hey..... i'm a snorer too and I'm so embarrased by it. My husband keeps teasing me about it (he snores too but he's a big guy so there's one probable reason) so I asked my dentist about it and she said after getting all my dental work done (there's alot) I can consider getting a mouth device. We shall see.....
So see, there are other options besides murder! hmph!
