Has anyone ever been to the Saturday Chocolate Brunch Buffet at the Meridien Hotel in Boston? It was featured on The Food Network. All varieties of chocolate desserts.

My wife and I and our dim sum friends go once a year, usually around late February when we just can't take the winter any more. It's fun and there's a huge variety of dishes, although frankly, I can take or leave that amount of chocolate.

No, but I attended a Chocolate Lover's Dinner in Laughlin Nevada once. Everything (including all entrees) was coated, creamed, and gravied with either white or milk chocolate sauces. Very unusual and interesting!

I remember going to it back in the early 90s when I was doing work up in Boston. It was excellent! Can not say enough good things about it. But by the end of assaulting the buffet, someone at the next table had just gotten a burger and it smelled real good. I think only because of the salt content though.

        Have fun.

I saw that "TOP 5" episode also. I thought their choices for the top 5 were kinda strange...but it was their choice and not supposed to be the selection of the "RoadFood Experts" !!!
The option for the Childrens Buffet(serving to them, not consuming them) was like watching the little ones playing in anyones kitchen...no big thing.
I was looking for the place that was listed on this site for the major Buffet at about $60 that had the Lobster on the menu.

If your looking for that type of food, I would recommend the all you can eat dessert bar at the Four Seasons on Fri & Sat. Only $14 if you order dinner. A huge selection of very high quality desserts, and it is not unusual for them to take custom orders if you find something they don't have.
