The company I'm with (Bartons Confections) makes outstanding chocolate covered pretzels. We have milk chocolate covered pretzel rods with peanut butter stringing, dark chocolate covered rods with milk chocolate stringing, dark chocolate covered rods with candy cane pieces, and milk, dark, and white chocolate covered twist pretzels. We also produce chocolate covered pretzels for many other companies.

my favorite was Fanny Farmer Candies. I especially enjoyed their white chocolate covered pretzels. That's the one in Syracuse, NY. Which is probably too far to travel. In Hanover PA there a cute little chocolate shop with chocolate covered pretzels. And they, too, are fantastic. Can't recall the name of the place. Speaking of Hanover, Snyder's of Hanover recently came out with Hershey Special Dark covered Pretzels. They're called Pretzel Dips.

Somehow I am remembering that Unique Pretzels has a chocolate covered version, but I think maybe I am inventing that????Uniques are available with a short drive into Bucks, Northhampton, Lehigh or of course Berks County (Reading), PA.

Uniques are great, my favorite brand actually, but I have never seen a chocolate covered version. Wow, that would be nirvana.

Do you get tired of chocolate treats when you are around them all the time?

Tony: I have not tasted one piece of chocolate since joining the company. I have been on the Optifast Diet since August 9. My last day of eating any food was August 8th. Kim: You're welcome. BTW, Macy's Holiday Lane chocolate pretzels are produced by us.

Since by nature i am a nosy chick, what is the Optifast Diet?? It scared me a bit to read 'my last day of eating food'. Do you care to discuss this?

Optifast is a doctor supervised liquid fasting diet. One must have a minimum of 50lbs. to lose. Daily, you must drink 5 of their shakes (either in mix form or ready to drink boxes) and drink an additional 3 quarts plus of water preferably, but any drink with no calories is permitted. There are snack bars that are available - you can only substitute one shake a day for a bar. NO OTHER FOODS ARE PERMITTED. The key is the medical supervision. The shakes and bars are only available through the doctor and you must see the doctor once a week. Blood tests to monitor cholesterol, sugar, and other things are needed on a monthly basis. I have lost 80 lbs. since August 8. My goal is 140. I should reach that sometime in late January or early February.

is that the SLim-fast diet? just kidding. congrats on your weight loss. IMO, the most difficult part of weight loss is AFTER you've lost the weight and are dealing with maintaining the weight in a livable lifestyle.

Cheese - that is an amazing diet. I can see why though that it is only under a Drs supervision. Congrats on your current loss and best of luck to you on the rest!!!
