Chubby's In the Washington Life

Terrific writeup of Chubby's Barbeque in Washington Life. I guess lleechef and I aren't the only ones who think Tom's food is edible.

High Priests of American BBQ.....Yachtsman.....as if his head wasn't big enough!!!

Congrats Tom, your hard work and dedication has paid off handsomely.  And I don't mean monetarily.  It's obvious you don't do what you do for money.  Putting out an outstanding product rules the day.

Plus, I think your food is the only thing me and MH ever agreed upon!

Fried bologna is not a staple in Nevada. Growing up in Detroit, Cleveland and Chicago it was a different story. When I go to the local meat market I usually buy at least a pound of bologna sliced a half inch thick. Often I will be asked by another customer what I do with it. . When I tell them I fry it and dress it on cheap ass white bread w/mustard, onions and pickle. Or, if I want to revert back to my misbegotten youth I slather it with mayo and catsup. A number of folks have tried it. And liked it. I quess it is sort of like the card game EUCHRE. In that it is primarily a Midwestern sort of thing. I hope I get to eat at Chubby's some day.

If you want a copy of the article for your scrapbook, Washington Life is a "controlled circulation" magazine available at all local area airports—Baltimore Washington International Airport, Reagan National Airport, Dulles International Airport—as well as Union Station. Washington Life is provided on Delta Airline shuttle services between New York City and D.C., US Airways flights between New York City, Boston and D.C. and at the Continental Airlines CLUB ROOM in New York City and Washington D.C.  Congrats on making it into Washington Life!
