Church's New Spicy Chicken??? Tue, 07/22/08 3:42 PM (permalink)
I stopped to get some but they were sold out... and there was a 20 minute wait for them to make some more. I didn't wait.

Anyone tried it?

I've tried it. I liked it. I'd eat it again. I still prefer Bojangles and/or Popeyes.

I was not aware that mrs Winners was still in business. They left Knoxville about ten years ago. I enjoyed their product but they ain't here no more.

We have no Bojangles or Winners in north Texas that I know of.

I have heard folks here complain that Popeye's pieces are too small. Church's pieces are plenty big. I was hoping it might taste good also. I have noticed a big difference in Church's locations. The one nearest me is pretty good.

I know that most folks are not appreciative of KFC but when they are on, their pieces of chicken are huge and not to be compared with others in their portions.

In my personal opinion, they are improving their operation.

We have Mrs Winners all over Memphis area. I like them better than any of the others. I haven't tried the spicy, though. When I want spicy chicken, I go to Gus's.

Mrs. Winners has a store locator on their web site:
