There was (and probably still is) a CiCi's in my former hometown in South Carolina. It was always packed for the first six months of opening (1998?), and the pizza was just okay. It's a prime example of getting what you pay for, because the pizza is really, really cheap-tasting. But...it's AYCE, and big families with lots of kids come in droves. It got really crazy there on weekend nights. I never went back; there was much better pizza elsewhere in my town.

When my grandson was visiting me he loved it.
I enjoyed the salad bar (fresh ingredients and good salad dressings) the garlic bread and marinara dipping sauce.
The town I live in (and surrounding area) has only 'chain' pizza places so I'm not able to compare the pizza to a 'mom and pop' I did enjoy the spinich pizza but ate mostly the salad, bread and dipping sauce. Grandson loved their alfredo sauce.

Last time I looked this was not only a chain but a franchise chain.

In my opinion, this was your lucky day.

Ate at the one in Morgantown, WV on my way to Ohio. Worst pizza I have ever had in my life. You get what you pay for.

I've eaten their pizza when somebody orders it at work. Pizza Hut and Dominos is far worse.

CiCi's is a kid-fest for the lower class. Once (Springhill and Coit in Richardson, TX) was not only more than enough; it was frightening. Peter Piper Pizza does the same concept MUCH better. That said, we're not going back there either.

It sounds as scary as a Chucky Cheese.

Not quite as an adult doesn't need 10 mg. of Valium to enter; alll you need is a stiff drink and an Immodium after!

I didn't think it was all that bad, because they have AWESOME cinnamon rolls!!!! The thin crust veggie pizza was pretty good. I mean for $5.00, what do you expect? Chicago style deep dish made to order????
