I was born and raised in the Cincinnati area (Cleves) and this stuff is in my blood (along with my beloved goetta).
Camp Washington has IMHO the best-tasting chili in town. I have not had Price Hill or Delhi since I joined the military and left town in the 70's; I have to go back to try them again. Dixie is quite good, to my taste. I love their Greek Fries with feta and Greek dressing! Blue Ash is ok, but too sweet for me. I have not been to the rest, but since I am retiring this month and need a good excuse to visit my sister in Cincy, I may do a parlor-hopping trip one day soon.
When I lived there in the 60's, every neighborhood had a chili parlor. I think there were 90+ in the area IIRC.

It's still pretty much that way, only nowadays the majority of them are either a Skyline or a Gold Star. There aren't very many non-chain parlors left.

There are a number of great things about Cincinnati, and a good four-way with onions is one of them. But here in the Columbus area we're limited to Skyline. Now I really like Skyline, but I'd sure like to have more choices. And while Cincinnati chili parlors are terrific, the two things I miss most about the Queen City are the Cricket and Maisonette.

Six years at the University of Cincinnati from 1962-68 and I don't think I had one bowl of chili. Guess that is what the cheap 3.2 beer swill does to you.

You're lucky. It's fine on spaghetti. It's a Greek meat sauce, after all. But by itself, in a bowl ... ?

Of the places on the list, I have never been to Park Chili, Pleasant Ridge Chili or Gourmet Chili.  Any opinions on these places?  Blue Ash Chili is still my favorite.  Hey CK, maybe it is time for another chili tour?

Count me in on a chili tour. That is, if lleechef will let me. She's not a fan of Cincinnati chili. Maybe you guys could persuade her to participate.

My wife and I are big fans of Chili time which we found by mistake when our first smart phone gave us some bad directions. We are also fond of Dixie Chili. I really liked Camp Washington but the noodles are too thick for my wife's taste so we've only been there once. Neither of us liked the flavor of Dehli though I liked the atmosphere and the goetta. We loved the original location of Blie Ash but we went to another location near Kings Island and didn't like it nearly as much.

We are headed to Asheville, NC tomorrow and I think I know which city we are going to make our first food stop in. I might try to find one of the others that we've never been to.

I did notice that Gourmet Chili allowed smoking and didn't even attempt to have a non-smoking area or any ventilation to address the obvious. That would be an absolute deal killer for me.

Gourmet Chili is located in Northern Kantuckee (a state that still allows smoking in restaurants) but all the other Indiana and Ohio places don't allow smoking in the restaurants anymore.

Hell in Ohio it is illegal to smoke outdoors.

I have a tough time choosing between CW and BA. I've yet to make it to any of the others. I  have bookmarked the list and will start making my way through it over the years.

We stopped at Gourmet Chili this evening on our way through (unfortunately at rush hour) and had the pace to ourselves at that time for a quick early dinner. I got two coneys and fries and my wife got a 3 way. The chili was saucier than some others and didn't have as much of the sweetness as some do. And they were very generous with the cheese. Overall, we both really liked it and would go back. I was tempted to order some goetta too but we still had 6 hours in the car ahead of us and I didn't want to be too full.
