City BBQ..

Never been before and the wife and I popped in to try them for lunch. Our mistake was going to the wone by the mall and 1st experience at a busy time. First the line didnt move. There was only 2 people in front of us and the firt guy grumbled and took over 10 min. When the same happened to the next my wife looked around and saw the comunal seating elbow to elbow and decied to leave.
The jury is out but Im unimpressed.

    My office is in Beavercreek and I have eaten there many times. They have a few locations now and seem to be opening more all the time. Website says they have 11 locations. The sampler plate is a pretty good deal and the Ribs are pretty good. Offer a couple styles of sauce. The Texas Smoked Sausage is very good....Russ

    We arrived(beavercreel location) at around noon and the dinning room was pretty full. There were only 2 people in front of us and we left after 15min. I hate to see it with a line!
    I didnt see the whole dining room, but is there individual seating or all benches?

    I always get pulled pork or brisket by the pound to go, along with a pint of greens and a quart of macaroni and cheese. In fact, I'm having brisket, greens and macaroni and cheese for dinner tonight -- leftovers (of course) from a few nights ago.

    I have never been to Adams Ribs. I thought they only did catering now....Russ

    Guess I waited too long. Its a beautiful building and I had thought it new.

    We have a few locations of City BBQ here in Cincinnati, and I have never head a bad meal there.

    Not the very best que I have ever had, mind you, but still very good
