Cleveland, Old fort, Tenn. Area?

Hi All,
Memorial weekend, here I come. Where in this area, Cleveland, Old Fort, Tenn., or surrounding area, can I find mom & pop eating place? Does not matter what food. Thanks Charlie.

I haven't been to these establishments in a while, but I hope this is a starting point.  Perhaps someone else will add to it.

Thanks MellowRoast for your wonderful post. I ended up at the place called, "The Chef!" on Rt 11 South  of Cleveland. I pick that spot cause of two police cars sitting outside of place.........lol. Who knows, they could be arresting somebody. Thank you, Charlie.

charlieb, you're welcome.  Is that the place that used to be a Burger Chef decades ago?  How was it?

I have no clue. Never been to Cleveland before. I can ask my host people that I'm staying with for the weekend in Old Fort. Met them on facebook, believe it or not. We r Goldwing's riders. I wanted to eat there, and when host coulpe showed up, they wanted to eat somewhere else.........lol..... never had a chance to eat there. Maybe next time........lol.

charlieb, I did some searches and The Chef indeed used to be a Burger Chef location.  The architecture is unmistakable.  Well, shucks, I was hoping for a report on The Chef.  Maybe another time!
