I was at a drug store lunch counter in Lima, Peru, once upon a time. For some reason, I asked for coffee ice cream.. The guy didn't hesitate for a second. He scooped up some vanilla, opened a jar of instant coffee, and dumped several spoonfuls on the ice cream. He mashed it in and gave it to me. It was sensational. I've since done it at home many times. You control how strong the coffee flavor is. Try it; you'll like it.

Slightly similar, I was in a cafe Germany wanting a nice, cool glass of iced coffee, my summer daily fix. Like Pete, my waiter didn't hestiate. Then out he comes with a huge bowl of (coffee) idea cream, mit schlag, cookie and umbrella on top!!!! (I forgot that the German word for ice cream is "eis" so "ice coffee is not the potable kind. oops!)

i'm not a coffee drinker at all either, but I love the smell of it except I prefer the flavor of mocha. so I always buy the Mocha Blast from Baskin Robbins! Delicious!
