I just bought a coffee pot that you set on grill and brews coffee just like at home. I got it at Wally World 37.00 It works too! I am going to serve hazel nut cream in the 12oz cup with lid. Contact me if you need further info cowboy_bobs_texas_weiners@yahoo.com

My new concession trailer will be done next week. Can't wait

I prefer black coffee, none of that flavored stuff! But if someone don't want a dog, good source of extra income offering the coffee, especially in these soon to be frigid months! How many burners you have open there? What if someone wants Decafe?? Maybe have the 2 basic varities and use a syrup to flavor them (Like 7-Eleven does now)... Might give you more variations, more potential sales, and more $$!

Not familiar with syrups, but will check into them today.
I have 2 extra burners, one for the coffee pot and one open.
      I'm thinking a buck for 12oz cup

I tried coffee on my cart and it didnt go over too well. One thing though is there is a Duncam doughnut and a white hen pantry very close to where I sell. The people here are Duncan Doughnut nuts though so I couldnt compete with them.

I'd probably go with brewing fresh coffee and putting it into an insulated carrier to avoid tying up the burners (or burning the coffee)... ChicagoStyleDog was going to try Soups last winter... Not sure on how it worked out, but seemed like a darn good idea, especially during them cold weather months... I did a quick search, here's the link: http://www.roadfood.com/Forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1915 and another one on the same topic: http://www.roadfood.com/Forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1914

We have thought about selling soup also. It is getting pretty cool here in New England so I just might give that a try.(BTW did you see the Red sox?)

We tried soup on the cart last winter. It was a learning curve and a bad idea. Customers come to my cart expecting a hot dog. Coffee and hot dogs don't mix. Soup and hot dogs don't mix. I only sell hot dogs and drinks. During the warmer months, I have a Dove Bar cart next to my hot dog cart. When the weather's warm, ice cream always sells, with or without the hot dogs. On very, very hot days, Doves and drinks rule!

We have a DBC8 C.Nelson frozen novelty push cart with Dove bar pictures on the sides and a Dove bar umbrella. We sell 3 types of Dove bars: milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and milk chocolate with almonds.
