Have any one of you that also picks up the 'yellow top' Coke noticed like me that you need a HELL of less of it to satisfy your thrist?? I noticed that its taken me almost FOUR days to finish a 2 liter bottle of this...about double the time (at least!) of the usual time it takes. I find that one medium sized cup is just right to eat with a meal. I have really been giving this some thought, and wonder seriously, and would probably take some kind of serious scientific research to prove, if HFCS does a poorer job of satisfying those sweet receptors on the tongue and palate, thus making that sweet crave not quite go away...necessatating someone to ddrink more to try ot satisfy it??? (catches breath) I am always surprised, when drinking the regular cane sugar Coke, how the 355 ml bottles you get in the bodegas around here seems JUST right....JUST enough for that meal.... Im not much of a conspiritist,BUT....ya don't think C&P dont know this, do ya? The 'real' Sprite is also greatly improved also..much clearer taste...I usually prefer 7UP..but if Coke used cane sugar in SPRITE all the time, Id sure buy it more....

and another thing.... I have always thought that the syrup that is used for 7/11's Slurpee, might be real sugar as opposed to HFCS,as Slurpees are Kosher....it sure tastes different than 'normal' Coke....

But are Slurpees Kosher for Passover? Just my impression here, no Kosher expert, but isn't regular corn syrup coke an acceptable beverage with either dairy or meat at non-Passover times of the year?
