I buy whatever one is on sale at the time. They are both the same.

Even before 35 I would use Coke for mixed drinks and Pepsi straight. Now I use diet coke for everything.

Coke, all the way! But, I don't like it in the plastic bottle, I don't like anything in a plastic bottle. Nothing beats a good fountain Coke or an ice cold can of Coke on a hot summer day. Pepsi's too sweet.

Coke & Pepsi, two equally wonderful drinks! Yes, sometimes the fountain variety IS the very best!

Good old high-octane regular coke. It's a hard addiction to shake.
Now, I'm going to ask a question here, and I'm serious about it.
There are a number of you who say that you like the caffiene-free diet version of coke or pepsi. To me, what's the point? No sugar, no caffiene, and none of it seems to taste very good. It's just fizzy brown water. Why do you like it?

We drink the caffeine version of Coke and Diet Coke at our house. Primarily to keep from staying awake all night.

I agree with db1105 -- whichever is on sale at the time, whenever I feel like drinking soda, which is not that often.

When I'm mixxing it with Jack Daniels I don't always want the caffiene all night or the sugar. If you are "addicted" to regular, then none of the other varieties will taste good to you. I gave up regular a long time ago for Diet, and I only drink soda at night, so I ahve now gone to Caffiene free. You get used to it, like lightly flavored club soda. I understand the argument since I see no point to decaf coffee, but at night.

COCA-COLA all the way! To me, Pepsi tastes like ultra sweet flat coke. Yuk!
I like the Diet Coke with lime, Diet Pepsi is drinkable if there is NO other choice, but I usually drink diet Dr. Pepper. Love the Cherry Vanilla Diet Pepper!!
BUT... there are times when nothing hits the spot like the real thing.

JakerDog,I know some Jack Daniels drinkers who would choke at mixing Jack with anything...Jack is for sipping, they'd say...waste bourbon on Coke.

I buy TaB when available (depends on which store I go to). I'll take Diet Coke if TaB isn't available (at one Kroger, that's a common occourrence). As for pepsi, I will not voluntarilly buy any version of it. pepsi is forbidden in my household. It makes the enamel on my teeth cringe. Diet pepsi is also way too sweet. If I drank pepsi, I then would need a few beers to kill the thirst.

I never thought much about it until for about 2 weeks I had either a can of coke or pepsi included with my lunch. Coke one day, pepsi the next. I found that I much prefer Coke. Pepsi is way too sweet.
