I told you so................... and now the Polish guys will take it all..... I won $500 bucks on that game  but the odds on this Duke/Butler game are such that I'd have to bet the same $500 just to win $100  ...Go DukeKrzyzewski  ....lol

I always thought Coach K was Irish.  Well live and learn.

I don't get this whole Duke Hater thing. Makes no sense. The whole Duke Persona is something to be revered and admired in this age of unethical, illicit College and Pro Sports. Go Duke!

Duke is a victim of being too good too long. 
Fans want to see someone else win.  I would
like to see little Butler win---it has nothing to do
with hating Duke.  The Cinderella Story, thats all.
 

Duke is favored by 7-8 on most books.  I think they will win in the double digits easy...

hopefully Evil will lose tonight...

Foodbme- Think of the Duke 'Image' the way one considers UNLV a pro team in college clothing. (Well, OK, Add in some Literacy and a touch of good-breeding for Duke), Then add some of the 'Spoiled Rich Kid Attitudes' that make the headlines now and then.  Add a ton of old Tobacco Money, and you get the image in the mind of many folks in the 'East'. Duke has a wonderful Medical community and is the breeding ground for much of 'Old Southern' Politics the way the Ivy league does in the NE.

I will be cheering for the underdog this evening. Butler deserves to win as the answer to the Cinderella Dream.

That said, If Butler should pull it off, we may change our route of travel to Camp Lejuene NC later this week. Having Indiana Plates might not be a good idea if Duke were to 'Bite The Big One' Tonight !!!

although Duke is usually very very good, I believe most everyone who cares about basketball that lives out of the state of NC will root for Butler.

11:38 PM   What a classic game !  Duke did win, but Butler was in it to the last shot.  It doesn't get any better than what we watched tonight !!

Down by 2 a Butler shot from half court hits the rim and bounces away-------
it almost went in-----off by an inch.  A classic.

Duke just adds another trophy to its already full cabinet.
Butler will remember that inch forever.

Great game-----up 1/2 the night --- will have to take a few naps today.

Duke makes me yawn man.  *yaaaaawn*  And not for the reason Bill is yawning.  :)

Some stats are meaningful...prior to the final game, Butler had held every opponent under 60 points. They let Duke go on a rampage & score 61 & they lose!

Ill eat my words, I didnt think Butler had it in them, great game all around.  Butler deserves all the credit that they are getting, an excellent run.

Good game last night, but people need to stop referring to Butler as a "Cinderella".  They were ranked 10th and 11th in 2 pre-season polls, and have finished in the top 25 the last several years.
