College kids wanting ribs

Although I cook some pretty decent ribs, I don't ship them. My daughter and some of her friends have sent out an urgent emergency request for Baby Back BBQ'd ribs. Your help would be most apppreciated in identifying online BBQ joints that would be worthy of this mercy mission. Thank you in advance. Euclid

I have ordered ribs from Fiorello's Jack Stack BBQ, and they were good: http://www.jackstackbbq.com/ (order extra sauce) I've heard that the mailorder ribs from Charlie Vergos Rendezvous were good: http://www.hogsfly.com/ Where does she live? Maybe a Roadfooder knows of a reasonable BBQ joint near to her location.

If they like them 'Gooey with KC style Sauce' try some from Carson's in Chicago. Here's the website and order form... http://www.ribs.com/

Thanks for the input. My hat's off to MiamiDon for asking the painfully obvious question...Where does she live. I am always amazed at what I leave out in these posts. Anyway, she lives in Boulder Colorado. My middle daughter lives in Chicago and raves about Carsons. I have not heard of Fiorello's but a friend of mine is from Memphis states that The Rendezvous is the Gold Standard for ribs in Memphis. Back to MiamiDons point. Now that you know she's in Boulder, it would be better in all ways if there is a local rib joint so that I can prepay and they can eat there. Much better. Thanks for your continued suggestions.

Try a post in the "Where to Eat" forum, and title it something like, "Ribs in Boulder, Co?"

I've been thinking about this thread and have been struck with an interesting (to me) thought. When I was a college kid (a long time ago) I would have gratefully enjoyed almost ANY Ribs Received ! Super quality might have been enjoyed, but my palate would adjust to any lessor quality of the order. When Mom sent me a very battered package of cookies and fudge and powdered lemonade to my APO in S E Asia, I didn't care if the stuff was melted and crumbly...It was great ! Not meant as a negative at all, But have we given birth to a generation with much more sensitive tastes than those we had "in the old days"!! Not my best organized post, but I think you understand my curious point!

College kids made Domino's Pizza what it is today so their taste buds probably are not very refined nowadays either so I think they might eat just about anything put in front of them, eh?

I did a search at 411.com and came up with the following. Can't say anything about them but perhaps your daughter and her friends would like to be cub reporters for Roadfood? 8 Island Hawaiian Bbq 3050 28th St Boulder, CO 80301 (303) 440-7427 Daddy Bruce's Bar-B-Que & Catering Service 2000 Arapahoe Ave Boulder, CO 80302 (303) 449-8890 Oskar Blues Grill & Brewery 303 Main St Boulder, CO 80302 (303) 823-6685
