I called Commander's Wednesday in hopes of getting by there for lunch before my Thursday departure from New Orleans, but they said it would be a few days before they re-opened. So we went to Bayona for lunch, and were not at all disappointed that we couldn't get to Commander's. Bayona happened to be celebrating their 16th anniversary and had a special 3 course lunch for $16 and martinis for 16 cents. We had fantastic meals and left very happy after taking full advantage of the low priced martinis.
