Indianapolis Billboard Compares Hot Dogs to Cigarettes

Race fans who attend the Indianapolis Motor Speedway – and residents who live near the track – are being warned of a possible link between hot dogs and cancer, Fox 59 reported.

A billboard on West 16th Street shows hot dogs inside of a cigarette pack. “Hot dogs can wreck your health,” it reads. The cigarette package has a picture of a skull and crossbones.

The American Institute for Cancer research says one, 50-gram piece of processed meat – such as a hot dog – can increase the risk of colorectal cancer by 21 percent.

Colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer in the U.S., according to the American Cancer Society.

A recent study published in the Journal of Epidemology says that processed foods like bacon and hot dogs do not increase the risk of pancreatic cancer.

"First they came for the cigarettes and I said nothing, for I was not a smoker,
Then they came for the TransFats and I said nothing, for I was not a fryer,
Then they came for the hotdogs......"

Living is going to kill us all - eventually.

Ever notice that when you give to the American cancer society and they have your information they hound and harass you even more for money? They are making this trash up to put fear into us so they can pilfer more cash from us all. They don't want to cure it all because they make too much money from it.

Oh well, back to eating my smoked, pulled pork sandwich.

          Everything gives you cancer. Everything.

          Therefore, nothing gives you cancer.

Huh? Hey what the heck your going to die from something. My plan is do everything you ever wanted to do twice long before you ever get to the end.
