So I was watching ESPN the other day and they had on about the Hot Dog eating competition that Nathan's puts on. I was amazed and a little sickened. How in the world could anyone eat that much that quickly?

I was just wondering if anyone else had watched it or ever been in a competition. Cause like, how do you train for something like that? You know?

        Hey Weenie ,

We may have a few competitive eaters joining us on our Sept 17th Jersey Hot Dog Tour .

I gather if we do two dogs at each stop and we have eight stops on the tour , perhaps that some of us will try , it should be a fun day .

I recently registered with the IFOCE (www.ifoce.com)as a competitive eater. Unfortunately, I will not be able to do the tour on Sept. 17.

              Hey Bx Finest ,

              Where do you work ?
Did a double at the range yesterday . Cobra / Range .

              Cheesewit ,

I tried to register last year for their qualifier in Saratoga for the Nathans contest , I think coming up next week or pretty soon. Did not get back any response . ESPN is taking the popularity to a new level .

There is also another " independent " competitive eating site , called Association of Independent Competitive Eaters or something similar.

Let me know if you plan on another Hoagie Tour , a few of us Hot Doggers may be interested , fall is better for me .
