Computer Games

Do you play them? The standards that came with your computer or do you venture out to online games? Do you buy games to load on to your computer? I'm forever playing Spider on difficult. I sometimes win. I'm a member or www.pogo.com where I play Omaha Poker, the daily crossword puzzle and some other games. Why pay for games when you can get online?

I play First Class Solitaire (free) for an hour or two every night on Pogo. (I am too cheap to join Pogo.)

You get free points for that today! (Not that I would know) Those points are crazy. Not good for anything.

I play Spider although I rarely win. I buy computer games. My most recent is Age of Empires. I like the strategy and the challenge. I also play on pogo.

I've never been a hardcore gamer, I find online card games and the like boring (I don't like them in real life either though). I did used to play online Scrabble, and a game called Acrophobia... where there would be 15-20 people also playing, the game put up a random acronym, everyone submits their own creative answer for it, then everyone votes on them and points and rankings are calculated based on how popular the answers were. Not sure it's still available for play. Nowadays, I play World of Warcraft once or twice a week with my brother in Colorado, it's our "bonding" time since we didn't grow up together and don't get to see each other very often.

I play on Poker Stars almost every night, no money, just chips...there's something about winning a large number of worthless chips I find compelling, go figure!

Janet plays a factory installed game of Solitaire when SHE wants to 'drift off' for awhile. Our Grandson is pushing to install the newest NBA 2012 game due out this week, but I am not one to put them on the computer I use for Home Maintaince. He can use his game-box, whatever it is and an older TV or Monitor, we have several. It will not go on my big-screen either... Some things I just don't share !!! My last Video Game was an intense "Duck-Hunt" about 20 years ago on the Apple I had in my classroom.

I play on Pogo everyday. Word Whomp and Mahjong Garden are my favorites right now. And Mar is right, those worthless tokens are very satisfying!

Last (and only) computer game that I played was on the Radio Shack TRS-80 called Android Nim probably back around 1981 that took about 20 minutes to load from a cassette. If you could call it a game, I also had something called Eliza that was like an early artifical intelligence psychotherapist that by today's standard was a joke, but could be amusing. Before that, my ex-father-in-law had a Pong console that I'd play with him. Never could understand how serious he took that game! I suppose I've just dated myself.

I wish I knew you played SPP. I just sold off my entire inventory in the marketplace and have had SPP delete my pets. Slide and Google ARE A JOKE!!

I play World of Warcraft quite a bit, though not as much as I was in the mid-2000s. I also play a variety of games on the iPad and iPhone.
