My good old ViewSonic has bit the dust, and I'm in the market for a new monitor. Best Buy has a 22" widescreen Acer monitor (Model # AL2223WD) on sale for $190.00, which is a great price. The normal price is $300.00. Have any of you had experience with the Acer monitors? If so, how do you like them, and what is your opinions of them, good or bad? Thanks for the info and help!

The college I worked for used Acer for many years in the labs, classrooms and offices, many were left on all the time and we had very few problems with them considering we had several thousand. The college only changed brands when they went to flat panel and bought computer/monitors as a package from a vendor.

Not a flat screen but I had an acer for years and just passed it on to the youngest child. Not one problem ever.

Little late here to your question, but Acer is a quality product. Never had any problems with them.
