The last time I was in Bridgeport was sad. My wife and I were showing our grandson around her hometown. The bridge to Pleasure Beach where her family cottage was located was gone -- burned, it think -- and Beechmont Dairy looked like Hell. Her grammar school, Nathan Hale, was gone, replaced by some sort of housing, and her family's house on West Taft Avenue had a car up on blocks in the front yard.

My old neighborhood in New Haven, Westville, hasn't changed much, but the city sure has, and places I used to hang out are now battlegrounds for gangs.

It's sad.

It is sad, but they do eat the new Kirkland Hot Dog!

Who's making the Hot Dogs for Kirkland?

My lead cook threw the packaging away, so at this point I don't know.

have you ever tried to get away from the scene of the crime
in a window delivery truck? Tough going. You need some bbq sauce mixed with siracha to make it successful.

This is how my two month stint in Jail started, you guys should learn from Ex-convict..

I own some beautiful cubic zirconia. Most would never know its not the real thing.
And I would seriously heed the word of our resident ex-con....especially name calling.

That's the best I could do in an Italian restaurant.  Although I thought it could use a little more garlic.

Folks the thread is getting way off topic. Please return to a rational discussion of the Costco Weinies, or we'll have to shut this one down.
We just returned from a Saturday visit to Costco. Even with a fistful of coupons for all sorts of bargains, the tab was $246.00. No hot dogs in the boxes for us as we still have 3 lbs of their hot links. We did get a Polish dog at the snack bar...and a whole pizza to take home. Our store is using the Kirkland All beef Dogs, BTW. They are OK, but we like the Polish better.. However the frozen Shrimp Scampi that was a coupon special a couple of months ago has become a staple in our dinner menu. Pretty strong Garlic flavor that does work well with noodles  or some Pasta, and some Alfredo Sauce and Parm. Cheese.

Now, Please mind your manners.

Mr. Mayor, you keep talking about the Polish at Costco, aren't they the Hebrew National 1/4 lb. dogs? I've never seen a Polish at a Costco.

We have em here too. With sauerkraut. Maybe one has to be in a less ethnic area to get a good Polish.
