Crabcake Review

I'm sure hoping we'll soon have a review -- and lots of pictures -- of G&M Restaurant here on the website! I hear the crabcakes are pretty good...

    Michael,
    I am sure that a bunch of the folks will contribute opinions and reviews of the G & M , I have the digital camera ready, so photos will clog the website for sure!
    The Baltimore newspaper will be represented also. We will refer any 'techie' questions about Roadfood.com to you since none of us know squat about HOW the site operates. I think this meeting is going to be a ton of fun. Name Tags, Door Prizes, Food, Good weather, And a bunch of good folks!! What more could we want.

    All of us attending are eager to file a review. I'll have my digital camera with me for the photos you desire.

    Just a suggestion....for those who are sticking around for dinner (I'll actually be in "Bawlimer" overnight) perhaps we might want to head out to CHAPS for the OTHER LOCAL SPECIAL, the PIT BEEF SANDWICH.

    I've heard that G&M has good crabcakes. Maybe a few of us should try to meet there?

    Saturday's Road Food get together in Baltimore could yield the journalism machinery of old like a 1950's World Series game where after it's over, the sports writers all rush to the phone or to their desks to hammer out the next day's lead. Who will be the first to post from "Crabstock"?? Who will land the exclusive interview with G&M's line cook? Who will bring a Blackberry typing in to it under the table scooping us all?

    And who will snag photographic proof that three of Saturday's attenders were:

    a jet-lagged Amelia Earhart;
    Jimmy Hoffa (who moved around little due to his cement shoes);
    and D.B. Cooper, who, literally, just dropped in...

    ...all, before now, hiding behind the on-line monikers of "meowzart," "CheeseWit" and "signman" ??

    Inquiring minds want to know.

    Beware of the press. We should count ourselves lucky if they spell "Roadfood" right, let alone accurately describe what the crabcake fest is all about...

    Alright. I believe we may have just crossed a line.

    Mind you, I have absolutely no idea what or where that line is. I just wanted to use this opportunity to espouse my moral self-righteousness. Thank you.

    I think I am the guy on the FAR RIGHT, looking like I am drinking from a wine fountain. And I see Seafarer John semi-passed out on the LEFT WING... This is a lot like what Miss Mary used to see when she used her MAGIC LOOKING GLASS in her T V Show while we sat in preschool waiting patiently to be recognized. Her perception of her audience was a bit different than ours.

    I am glad to see the crowd is dressed appropriately...Shirts and Shoes !! I am glad that Duff will be with his own group, I don't think I want him to see this type of behavior! (A word of caution to those bringing sensitive little children!)

    Hey Bushie...This looks a lot like the Tennesse BBQ Glee Club, doesn't it?

    And by the way, is it simply a coincidence that this thread started with "Michael Stern" and has arrived at "Caligula"?

    I think not. I believe that such was the very purpose of which we were all used as pawns by Mr. Michael "You Say Arugula, I Say Caligula" Stern.

Ms. I395 was not impressed. "We needed some refreshments in the deal", she stated. No word on whether either soccer game was won by the insidious I-95 gang. Details at 11. now back to your show. Do be a "Good DoBee!"
