Creamed Chicken

Buy a preroasted bird, Costco style, cut the meat off, a can of Cream of Mushroom soup, 1/2&1/2, poultry seasoning, curry powder. Prepare in a frying pan. Combine the soup and cream to a thick sauce on simmer, add the poultry seasoning and curry to taste, at simmer add the chicken till hot...you will like this, takes about 2 minutes. Leftovers heat up perfectly!

I do this and serve it over canned asparagus or over toast. It really is good. If I have it, I add a little chopped pimento... mostly for color.

Here is a really simple process for creamed chicken. I like to use meat from a beer can chicken (leftover meat), buy a bigger chicken than you need, so you will have plenty of meat. buy Sylvia's Country Gravy Mix and make it to the directions, add chicken and simmer. Serve over your favorite biscuts halved. Add ins can include corn, peas, bacon bits, or shredded cheese.
