The Cubs are going to have some pretty good prospects there.  They have 5 prospects in the Top 50, and 2 of those are in the Top 10.  The Cubs manager says that at least 3 of their top prospects will be in Arizona.  The Cubs will be great in 2028!

Too bad the Cubs Ownership just signed a deal eliminating Old Style beer as the official beer of the cubbies.  " />" />" />" />" />" />

Didn't know "Old Style" beer was still being brewed! Haven't had one of those in Decades!
There's a Petition Drive underway to keep Old Style Beer the official beer of the Cubbies!

And if what I found online is correct, the new official beer is Budweiser.  From Anheuser-Busch.  As in Busch Stadium, home of the Cardinals.

I don't know if the Busch family still owns the Cardinals or not, but either way this could be some PR egg on the Ricketts family's collective face.

When I saw Cajun King's post, I thought they wouldn't be stupid enough to make Bud the official beer.
If they did, there would be rioting in the streets of Wrigleyville!
All Cubs fans would need to do would be to not buy any beer at the games for a month and that would hit them where it hurts and effect a change immediately!

AB & Bud are now owned by the In Bev World Conglomerate.

But was they signed a lucrative deal with Bud to make it the official beer, too bad Harry Carey isnt around to see that day.

    He dearly loved his Budwieser!

That figures, a foreign company that has no clue what American baseball is all about.
