Culver's has been experimenting withthis concept for a couple of years now. The first cafe has been pretty successful; it'll be interesting to see how far they go with the idea.

Brad, our local Culver's Owner says they will be trying "Thick Burgers" on the menu shortly also. (as opposed to the flattened and thin-crispy ButterBurgers). I hope they don't mess with a good thing too much. Bring Back the Walleye, and forget trying to BBQ Ribs would be two suggestions from me!

I agree with Al, I hope they don't start trying to do things they do not know how to do like other groups have done. Their menu is fairly complex now.

Walleye is a permanent Culver's menu item in Minnesota. It never goes away.

They have run the Blue Spoon in Praire du Sac for over 2 years. We've eaten there several times when visiting friends and always enjoyed it. Very good place but totally different from Culvers and should appeal to a different demographic. One time when we were in, our friends pointed out Craig Culver, the CEO, bussing tables. I think they have taken their time and expect it will be very successful.

Nicely priced menu, I like that you can order half orders of the sandwiches which leaves room for other goodies!
