Never had them, but, if they have curry, don't think I'd go for it personally, BUT I'm thinking of making Gourmet Reindeer Poop for xmas presents!

Aw shucks, folks. You're just testing me. But are you indeed referring the anatomical parts? As far as I know, curried lamb balls are meatballs -- kofte of Gushtaba. Although I did have the former in a mild sauce in a Turkish restaurant in Buenos Aires. They were said to have curative properties nowadays relegated to little blue pills. I did naot ask for the recipe.

Nope, doesn't sound too good to me. I found this description from Akbar Indian Restaurant in Plano, TX: Minced lamb balls stuffed with cashew nuts and raisins, cooked in a velvety sauce of curry and cream.

Not the curried variety, but I have had the "lamb fries" appetizer several times in the Oklahoma City area, mainly before a great steak at Cattlemen's Cafe. It is on the menu in many restaurants in OKC.

Sometimes in the summer, we make curried lamburgers cooked on the grill and served in pita bread - ground lamb mixed with yogurt, curry powder, minced onion and parsley, etc.

Curried Lamb Balls.....hmmmmm.......how does the recipe read?? 1. Take a lamb. 2. Cut balls off. (here's where it gets messy cuz the male species do not like having their balls tampered with or altercated in any way......hey, you can't blame them.) 3. Saute balls in ghee then proceed normally (right!) to make a nice curry sauce. 4. Cook some basmati rice and serve lamb balls on top. 5. Put plate of the above in front of your husband and hope he doesn't strangle you. 6. Sneak out with your girlfriends and have a beer and a burger! Who started this thread anyway? EWE!

something is really strange to me. Why does such a small animal have such huge balls. I guess it makes a great value for ball cookers Please bear in mind that I do not make it a habit checking things like that out Paul E. Smith Knoxville, TN

Hmmm. Sounds to me that if the lamb sang for his supper, it would be in a decidedly higher register. Is there a Ronco Lamben Baller yet?

LLEEE You've got to work on your typo's and your making assumptions... In #2 above, You charge the Male with "not likeing to have those body parts tampered with..."(paraphrase is mine) I don't think you interviewed enough of a sample to draw that conclusion... And your definition of Tampering seems to be pointed at the 'cutting off' process, but It certainly reflects a much wider sphere(no pun) of activity. By commenting about the Male in particular, you imply that the Female doesn't mind the process at all. Where is the research for backing that statement? Also in #3 The typo makes Saute Balls in Ghee out of Saute Balls with Glee...changing the whole thrust of the message !!!

Dearfolk, Well, you could roll them and see which way they go... it would help you get your - ball bearings. Getting A Bit Teste, Ort.30601. P. S. Or should it be "tsetse" instead? P. P. S. Please - use a slaughtered lamb. We don't need anymore soprano sheep. P. P. P. S. This is getting pretty offal. Shall I start a livermush thread in retaliation?

Actually, the creature I've seen with the biggest testicle-to-body size ratio were Meerkats. On my 1st outing with my future-mother-in-law we went to the zoo and I charmingly blurted out, "Look at the nads on those things!" I do know how to make an impression.

Mr. Mayor, out of all due respect, to answer this comment, we do all know what a female praying mantis does to the male after copulation.............she RIPS HIS HEAD OFF!!!! Seems to me the females of the species have no particular problem with this kind of behavior which would lead me to belive that said females have no problem with lambs having their balls wacked off.
