DC's famous Yenching Palace is now closed

This article, about the impending closing of the Cleveland Park landmark, appeared in the Washington Post early this year. My recent trek over to Cleveland Park found the place closed for business and stuff (decorations, tables, chairs, etc.) on the inside is for sale.
Bummer. Although, if I think of it this weekend, I may try to get over there to buy a piece of Cleveland Park history.

Now another Roadfood classic is about to be demolished to be replace by another Walgreens!

Enzio's in Glover Park closed up too...

Landmark- yes, Good food- no, not for over 15 years. I was, however, really not happy that it wasn't bought by someone who wanted to bring it back, but the Walgreens. Blech.
