DFW to Paris, TX

I have a business trip to Paris, TX starting Monday 8/17/2009.
I am going to stop at Angelo's in Fort Worth when I arrive, unless someone convinces me not to, then drive to Paris.
Has anyone been to Angelo's lately? What is their beer selection? Do I need cash or do they take plastic?
Is there any place in Paris, or nearby (I can drive up to an hour away) that I should not miss?
