I like Dairy Queen Blizzard's but everytime I go to the local Dairy Queen I am dissappointed at what I get. The product is good, it's just the presentation that is lacking. Sometimes the cup is never filled to the top, or there's not much topping mixed in and almost always there is unmixed vanilla at the bottom of the cup. Sometimes a good quarter of the cup is like that.

The other thing is the local store is always a mess with a bunch of kids that don't seem to know what they are doing and no one ever seems to be in charge. I know, typical in a FF place. Last nite I saw a man want his money back on something he ordered only because it didn't come with toast. Instead of just getting the guy some toast, the clerk gave him his $7 back.

I know, most fast food places may be like this, but since this is the only DQ in my town, it's just dissappointing.

I'm sorry to hear that. I have the same experience with restaurants in Detroit (including the Dairy Queens).

The only thing I can tell you is not to Patronize Dairy Queen until they handle your complaint.

I quit paronizing IDQ when the dropped the fried mushrooms from the menu. That was about 1987, I imagine.

My local DQ is actually preety good and clean. I've never had any issues with any of the food there and thats been 35 years.

I tried the sundae in a waffle bowl that was suppose to have chocolate covered strawberries on it. After ordering and paying $4.00 I dug in. No chocolate covered strawberries and no strawberries at all. I took a spoon and turned the mess over thinking they might be on the bottom. No such luck. The only thing on the bottom was some ucky tasting strawberry syrup. I took the mess back to the counter and got my money back.

I have to admit that there are a few things I like at DQ. The chocolate dip cone is good. I used to like the butterscoth but like most places the things I like they have discontinued.

The DG here has great chicken fingers. Very large and crispy though their honey mustard is terrible.
