When you did your forum search prior to asking this, didn't anything in the 47 pages that returned search results have any appeal?

I went to Daytona Beach  a couple of years ago, and ate at three places.  Here is a link to the thread in which I posted some pictures and descriptions.  I recommend all three places:

      Stinky Dog
      Brickyard
      Mike's Galley
I recommend calling first, as 2-1/2 years can be a lifetime in the restaurant business.

All three of the below places serve excellent grouper sandwiches and Boondocks has a delicious grouper dinner.  Of course, this depends on if grouper is  available for them to get.

BOONDOCK'S RIVERFRONT DINING - Daytona Beach

          Racing's North Turn

          Oyster Pub

When I went to Daytona in 1989 My family ate at a place in Port Orange named Aunt Catfish's. It was very good. I later returned without my family in 2005 and it was still very good. The menu seems to have changed somewhat since I went there. It is a lot broader and the prices are higher. However both times I went the service was friendly and the food good. Also each meal includes a cinnamon roll for dessert.

as Greymo said, Boondocks is excellent for seafood.it is on Penninsula Dr. in Wilber By The Sea.
Racings North Turn is ok, foods not bad but the  scenerys great.
                Oyster Pub, don't bother.
in the A1A tourist area Earl St. grill is good, near the Ocean Center.
Gateway Rest. on ISB. & Main St. Cafe have great breakfasts.
The Brickyard on International Speedway Blvd (ISB) is the only place to go for burgers.
Stavros on Beach St. for Greek pizza, Luigi's on US1 in Holly Hill for Italian pizza.
the list goes on & on.
I live here full time so I know where to go & can advise you when you get here.
PM me when you're coming down.

They make a good meatball sub too (and very good rice pudding)--except I go to the one on A1A in Ormond.
