Sounds very good to me.  They must mix it with flour and use the powder as a flavor?

    Regardless, I would buy

I would guess that it might be similar to the deep-fried Coca Cola recipe which makes Coke-flavored "donut holes":
    2 cups flour
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    2 eggs, lightly beaten
    1 1/2 cups Coca Cola
    Oil for deep frying

Here is the recipe for them for you to try out:

This is the original video:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68EP0C9lzyU
(The guy says his recipe is a secret.)

This is one (probably close to correct) recipe:
Enough red Kool-Aid powder to make 2 qts. of Kool-Aid
    1 cup water
4 - 6 cups flour to make a somewhat thick consistency (6 cups probably better)
    Mix well
Using a small ice cream scoop, drop balls into oil in deep fryer
Remove and dust with powdered sugar

The video of the source of the above recipe:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wW7B_QYTnAQ

    >>> The guy in this video says that his container (which looks like the 19 oz. size) makes 2 quarts, but the 19 oz. container is supposed to make 8 quarts, so you might have to experiment with that.  Since the original article posted by i95 says the originator used 10 times as much flour (by weight) as Kool-Aid powder, it is likely that the correct recipe uses only enough Kool-Aid powder to make 2 quarts, rather than the whole 19 oz. container.

I am jealous.  I have wanted to try Kool Aid pickles ever since I saw them featured on the FoodNetwork.  They were cherry flavored.  I didn't think Kool Aid made the lime flavor anymore?  That was one of my favorites when I was a kid.

Kool-Aid has never (to my knowledge) ever made just a lime flavour. They have made for as long as I can remember, and still do, a lemon-lime flavour.

You are right.  No plain lime.  My memories must be of lemon-lime but it was green in color so that is probably what I assumed it was.

P.S.  The last Stephen King novel I read, the main character kept whipping up ice-cold batches of Lime Koolaid.  Stephen didn't do his homework.
