What??? I had an ex that would crumble potato chips onto a meatloaf sandwich dosed in ketchup. Had another ex that would make me amazing dinners. No ex anymore...... long time partner of 34 years currently. Many years of good food made together.

I only allow myself two comments a year in the off topic section.... I believe this is the second. I've never been married but I will describe all of my ex girlfriends as follows. "carrots and celery sticks"

OK.. Despite the fact that I stayed around for 24 years...marinating someone my size takes time... I find that my ex-spouse is made of self-rising flour and Postum grounds and has a dented can, generic-brand, pork-n-beans mentality. When I finally had enough of the slow-roasting fork-jabbing attitude I left. She continue to be one who thinks if she whines and fusses enough, people will believe she is the center of the universe. She is watery lime jello mixed with dry Ramen mix and served with Hamburger Helper minus the Hamburger. OH Yeah, toss in some Meow Mix, She had 25 cats the last time one of my kids counted. Thank You. I feel much better now. My second spouse is the TUMS and Strip Steak of my Life !!

Ex Mrs. Metro #1: a can of Pabst Blue Ribbon. (Turned alkie on me; I got the house and the kids). Ex Mrs. Metro #2: a bipolar saltena. (A spicy Bolivian who had her violent "ups & downs"). Ex Mrs. Mtro #3: The turkey in " Christmas Vacation". (HUGE mistake; I was sadly focused only on appearances; exploding "trophy wife"; YIKES!) The present Mrs. Metro: Dinner at Restaurant Jules Verne. (Excellent, cultured, with a great view!) And BTW: None of my ex'es lives in Texas!

Sloppy Joes for tonights dinner.......... Soon as the meat has finished simmering a bit I'll add 3 different kinds of shredded cheese and then "slop" it between 2 toasted Texas sized onion buns. I'll serve them with some crispy onion rings!
