Dessert Fare - Custard Recommendations.

Yo, new here. Wanted to ask a quick question for those more experienced palletes than mine... There are 3 Frozen Custard joints around my area, they are Shake's Frozen Custard, Freddy's Frozen Custard and Culver's. My question is, which place has the best custard? I'm looking for a super thick, dense custard. If none of these are tops as far as Custard goes, feel free to recommend a spot. Thanks, M3x1.

Too bad you can't take a ride to Saint Louis for the best of the best, Drew's Custard. You might consider a drive to nearby Austin where they have several Carvel's, they are very good

I second the mention of Drew's in the St. Louis area. Also, Sheridan's Frozen Custard in my neck of the woods is very good. I have not been that impressed with Culver's - it's just okay.

Carvel's isn't really custard but soft-serv.
