Diamond Plate Flooring - Aluminum vs. Stainless Mon, 10/15/12 11:14 PM (permalink)
I am planning the materials list for a food truck build, and am wondering if the extra cost of stainless steel for the Diamond Plate over aluminum would provide any benefits. The truck will primarily cook deep fried foods.

Would also be interested in what thickness others have found to be adeqate.

I've used each over the years. But for my, bang for the buck, I like slate grey vinyl flooring with black coroplast baseboard better. (note that the glue takes much longer to dry on a metal substrate)
