Didn't understand a word they sang---was it in English?

Read the captions and noticed Maryland was never mentioned at all.
Chewy call their manager/agent/mother-in-law and raise hell.

I remember a song from my yute in Brooklyn, it was
Bar-B-Sol, Bar-B-Sol just wet your razor and begin.

Notice that Alka-Seltzer came with all that Bar-B-Q ---
      is that a-------co-in-sa-dense?

Sure was a bunch of ugly ol' boys though.
Smelly too---had to turn my computer sense of smell
      button way down.

I lived a spell in Horseshoe, NC
and those ol' boys had their pictures up on the wall
in the post office.  Musta been from near by..

#1. They were singin' in Southern, not English.
#2  Maryland is not considered a Southern State, so it don't count.
        #3  Bar - B Sol ain't BBQ!
#4  Alka Seltzer is standard equpment for all BBQ Consumers
#5  Pretty Boys don't do BBQ and the smell is a badge of honor!
#6  Post Office pictures in NC are also considered a badge of honor!

And,  at the end of that there movie pitcher show I expected
a little plug for Brooks Brothers where them good ol' boys got
fitted out.  Charlie and Zeke Brooks has there store by the
lumber yard in case yer interested.

Just Cause they're below the line don't make 'em Southern. Whose side were they on during the War of Northern Aggression?

Aggression----usually means attacking or starting something.

Let's use Fort Sumter as an example.  Who started what?
                        Who did the aggressing?

Food-B-U I am shocked, shocked I say ---that a literate gentleman
such as yourself would use the word incorrectly.   Maybe the Arizona sun is taking it's toll.  But all that is far behind us----for Bar-B-Q purposes Chubby's is the #1 choice of discerning folks in Maryland.

I don't know if I'd go too far on the Ft. Sumter limb, ancient one.  If you've been reading the 'Disunion' feature in the NYTs about coverage of the events leading up to the Civil War, I'd say it wasn't quite that simple.  :)
