If so, which ones...Me bacon, if it's real and not pizza topping bacon, along with double pepperoni, sometimes double cheese. And you?

With all due respect. That's way too much topping for me. My personal preference is a thin crust Neapolitan or NYC style, Pizza Margherita (preferably with bufala mozza) or a pepperoni pie. Nothing else except maybe decent anchovies on the side. Not cooked with the pizza. However..... If I ever get to New Haven, I want a WHITE CLAM PIZZA!

Just extra cheese for us too. A white clam pizza would be wonderful if we had one here in The Lehigh Valley.

A REAL Italian marherita pie is always our first choice...but loving pizza as we do...we'll try any topping by the slice...pizza is versatile...and in Italy anything goes...and I adhere to that philosophy. In Italy I tried pies with so many unusual toppings. My favorite was a white, potato pizza. Even had a pie with a poached egg on it....a medley of 5 or 6 types of mushrooms etc. Each new type was a treat. Having said all that, if it's made right, and with lots of FRESH basil, the classic Margerita is still this family's choice!!!!!!

My wife loves double cheese but me not so much. We had a wonderful eggplant and sausage pizza recently. I don't think I have ever had bacon on a pizza except Canadian bacon.

Foodbme Thin Crust, Double Cheese, Double Sauce! Double sauce ? Now that is something I would have never thought of. As I posted earlier, the only thing I have ever tried before was double cheese. But, now thanks to your suggestion, I can't wait to order my first double cheese, double sauce pizza. Thanks so very much for this suggestion !

I am a minimalist when it comes to pizza toppings. I especially do not like a lot of cheese. I also do not like a dry pizza, so extra sauce is always a consideration. PS - Hey Chewy, I see you got an itchy typing finger yesterday. I don't know how you posted so much, considering how busy it was at Chubby's. My intel tells me you had six servers running their tails off.

I'll do double sauce before anything else, I don't mind a messy slice.

It depends on my mood, or if I know the place I'm ordering from. There's one local place if you don't order double cheese you get a scattering of it, not even enough to hold the other toppings in place. I'll sometimes do double bacon or ham, and if I want green olives I always have to order double because no one ever puts enough olives on for me.

We like plain cheese but always ask for double garlic. Our local mom & pop complies with a boat load of garlic and much happiness for us!

Reminds me of the time a buddy and I stopped at our favorite late night pizza joint after a night out, and we got a double onion, double garlic pie. It was amazing. My place smelled strongly of onions and garlic for 3 days. Or it might just have been me.

For pizza, I like them simple. Crisp, thin crust, preferably with San Marzano tomoato sauce, a little mozzzerella (Scamorza Mozz is even better), and maybe a little basil. Classic Margherita. Most pizzas use too much cheese in my opinion, coverng up crust and sauce (possibly covering up poorly done crust and/or sauce, in some cases). Any pizza joint can throw on more cheese. Only the good ones make good crust. Glenn

I sit here typing, listening, interacting with customers, amazed at all the carachters that come in here...it ain't work, for me, it's fun!

I've ordered double cheese in the past...but I'm a garbage can pie guy...I like a good everything but the kitchen sink pizza including Anchovies, so doubling up on any one topping would be overkill.
